Did you know that Raiden of ‘Metal Gear Solid 2’ fame originally had a lot in common with Spider-Man? Designer Shinkawa Yoji envisioned Raiden walking around on all fours and mimicking the web-slinger. He also suggested that Raiden could be severely disturbed, and even have him lick bird droppings... Thankfully, Kojima didn’t go ahead with this approach.
