Cold water is heavier than hot water.
Cold water is, in fact, generally heavier than hot water. We aren’t talking about frozen water here, just colder in temperature. This is due to the fact that heating water up decreases its density, therefore making it weigh less overall. This doesn’t always apply though, if you were to compare a tub of 4C water to a tub of 1C water, the warmer bucket will weigh more.
