Interesting fact:

There’s a big difference between comic book Peter Parker and Sam Raimi’s version. In the comics, Spidey’s webs are actually a synthetic fluid fired from mechanical wrist guns that Parker designed himself. This didn’t really fit with Raimi’s vision of Peter. Being a young man with not a lot of income or free time, it made sense to have the webs literally fire from his arms. Noice.
