Interesting fact:

You’ll no doubt have heard of the mighty Terracotta Army in China, but did you know it was uncovered by digging farmers as recently as 1974? The seven farmers who struck gold (or terracotta?) whilst digging a well near Xian were surprised to find a statue hidden beneath the earth, and perhaps even more surprised when it turned out there was another 8000 of them down there.
