Did you know that the tea party, widely seen as one of the first steps towards independence, was condemned by George Washington? He believed private property was sacrosanct and urged the perpetrators to compensate the East India Company for the damages. Around 92,000 pounds of tea was poured into the harbour – we wonder what it did to the fish!
