Interesting fact:

Babies have no depth perception until they are around 5 months old. Just one of the reasons so few of them make it as Olympic Gymnasts. Indeed, they’re basically blind for the first three months, only being able to make out what’s just in front of them. Bats, however, can see just fine. So the phrase should really be: “blind as a baby”.
