Some countries have stringent rules on the names you can and can’t use on your baby. In Portugal, for instance, it’s forbidden to name them ‘Nirvana’. In France, a couple were disappointed to find they were forbidden from naming their child after a particularly popular spreadable treat made of chocolates and hazelnuts.
